The You Factor library has been integrated into the pre-existing X-Factor 2014 mobile application, prompting users to test themselves with singing by receiving a personalized judgment from the judges of the X-Factor TV show, sharing their results on social networks. The application made it possible to recognize and evaluate pitch through an algorithm, recording it and comparing it with a pre-loaded audio tracking file. At the end, a different algorithm allowed the fusion and synchronization of the recorded audio with the backing track. The visualization of the judgment is guaranteed to the user immediately, thanks to an analysis carried out in a few hundredths of a second and weighted on a tolerance parameter which considers the difficulty of the piece.
